Introduction to Windebank Creek

This interactive workshop led by the Fraser Valley Conservancy’s Habitat Enhancement Coordinator will teach you all about the plants and animals that call Windebank Creek home, both invasive species we are trying to manage, and native species we are trying to encourage the growth of.

We will teach you basic techniques of citizen science, including species identification and data collection, using the iNaturalist app.

At the end of this workshop, you’ll be able to walk around your neighbourhood and tell your friends and family the names of all the different plants and animals you notice!
