Creating Welcoming Communities: Renting to Newcomers

The Fraser Valley Refugee Readiness Team is holding a free community information session for anyone interested in learning more about renting to newcomers in Chilliwack. It will take place on Tuesday, November 14 from 7-9pm in the Slesse room at Evergreen Hall and will include hearing from a newcomer about their lived experience finding housing in Chilliwack. There will also be a panel of local professionals that will answer the community’s questions about the benefits and logistics of renting to newcomers. Light refreshments will be served.
