With Special Guest Speaker, Lorna Dueck! Lorna is an award-winning Canadian Journalist and lead analyst on faith and public life in Canada. You may recognize her from shows like Context with Lorna Dueck and 100 Huntley Street or as The Globe and Mail’s faith and public affairs voice. Lorna has received multiple honourary doctorate degrees and has been honoured with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for her contributions to Canadian Society. She is a passionate speaker with a powerful story of her own that we know will leave audiences feeling inspired.
Advokate exists to bring women-centred, hope-focused, and empowerment-oriented support to vulnerable women and low-income families facing unplanned pregnancy, offering compassionate, tangible support that empowers women and families to thrive.
Through services including free pregnancy tests, counselling, maternity and baby supplies, emotional support, postpartum support, post abortion care, and so much more, we’re able to serve hundreds of vulnerable women across the Fraser Valley every year.
