Neilson Regional Park
Neilson Regional Park is a 10 hectare park that is very popular for large gatherings, exploring nature, and beach activities. Chum and Coho Salmon can be found passing through early November and spawn right in the Draper Creek which runs through the park. There are picnic tables, picnic shelters, as well as washrooms on site here.
Located at: 8746 Edwards Street East, Mission, British Columbia
Bald Eagles are also frequent guests here at this Regional Park as they like to feed on the spawning salmon. You can also spot deer as well as black bears in this park. So be “Bear-Aware” while exploring the trails and area.
