The Great Blue Heron Natural Reserve
The Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve is 130 hectares that is home to over 90 Great Blue Heron nests as well as a wide variety of other of rare wildlife and vegetation. The 3 km trail connects up with the Vedder North Dyke Trail at the North side, and the Vedder Rotary Trail at the South side. It is wheelchair accessible, although the trails are light gravel, as well as has parking, picnic tables and washrooms.
Located at 5200 Sumas Prairie Road, Chilliwack, British Columbia
There is an exhibit inside the building there that shows off many taxidermy animals, information, as well as skulls and nests of different birds. Plus not to mention the amazing views this park has to offer.
