Chilliwack General Hospital has been serving the community since 1912 which at that time, the population was at 5,337 residents. Obviously since has been revamped and now is a sophisticated facility that offers exceptional healthcare services to the community.

Chilliwack General Hospital has (but not limited to) Acute and General care, 24 hour emergency department, 90 bed residential care unit, Intensive Care Unit, a Maternity ward, pediatric unit, medical imaging and a diabetic centre.

Basic Shared Rooms
Basic Rooms are shared by up to four patients and there is no cost to the patients if they have valid BC Medical Services Plan Coverage.

Private or Semi-Private Rooms
Fraser Health refers to these rooms as their Preferred Accommodation Program. These rooms provide you the option of of staying in a private or Semi-Private room for a daily fee. All rooms are subject to availability and you must notify the admitting clerk at the hospital when you arrive that you are interested in these rooms. The cost for a Private Room is $195; Semi Private Room $165.
