Sumas Mountain – Abbotsford Neighbourhood Parks

Sumas Mountain Neighbourhood lands between Highway #1 and just over the Lower Sumas Mountain Road all the way to Old Yale Road and McMillan Road. Within this neighbourhood there are some awesome parks and things to do including Castle Fun Park is near here as well.

Callaghan Park – Sumas Mountain Community Park

Callaghan Park is up in the beautiful neighbourhood of Auguston, it has a basketball court, a playground and lots of green space to enjoy.

Lower Sumas Mountain Park – Sumas Mountain Community Park

Located at Whatcom Rd & Sandringham Drive, Abbotsford, British Columbia
This park is trails that lead up the hillside and back down to connect with the Discovery Trail.

Mathers Park – Sumas Mountain Community Park

Located at 36367 Stephen Leacock Drive, Abbotsford, British Columbia
Mathers Park is also known as Mathers Baseball Park, for its baseball diamond.

McDonald Park

Located at: 39451 No. 3 Road, Abbotsford, British Columbia.
McDonald Park is a beautiful park that has a small playground, picnic area you can reserve, and washrooms. There is parking and trails along the river side to explore.

McKinley Park

Located at 3646 McKinley Drive, Abbotsford, British Columbia
McKinley Park is tucked behind a wooded entrance, stairs lead you up to a big open green space with a basketball court and a playground.

Sandy Hill Park

This park is filled with trees and trails, beautiful walking spot for you and your family.

Shadbolt Park

This park is in the quaint little neighbourhood of Auguston, it is just a green space right now but the City of Abbotsford has great plans for this space for the Fall of 2017 including an amphitheater and a water park. For more info Click Here.
