Albert Dyck Memorial Park
Albert Dyck Memorial Park is also known as Molson Lake. This man made lake was previously a industrial cement-works pit. It was specifically designed for wakeboarding and water skiing, which this park hosts many quality events, many local, provincial, national as well as international events and tournaments. This lake is a major hot spot for families and youth on those hot days.
Located at: 31515 Walmsley Avenue, Abbotsford, British Columbia
There is a trail that circles this beautiful lake, it is 1.6km long. Families come to sun bathe on the beaches, swim and fish for trout with their kids, watching people cable ski and enjoy a nice walk. The North side of the lake is known for people bringing their dogs to swim and play fetch, although the entrance sign does say no dogs.
Albert Dyck Memorial Park is located directly beside Abbotsford International Airport, it makes it a prime location to watch the annual Airshow, and even just relax and see the planes come in.
