Abbotsford Cenotaph War Memorial
Constructed and dedicated on April 7, 1929, in memory of World War I, World War II and Korean War veterans. The plaque for World War II veterans was added in the 1950s and the plaque for Korean War veterans was unveiled June 7th, 1992.The Cenotaph was moved in time for Remembrance Day 2006 to the civic plaza at Abbotsford City Hall. Originally, the Cenotaph had an electric light on its top, but due to it being vandalized so often, that it was replaced by a cross.
